Winter Haven, FL (My Sportsbook) - Jean Reynolds needed three extra holes Sunday to defeat overnight leader Song Yi Choi and win the Duramed Futures Tour season-opening event, the Florida's Natural Growers Charity Classic. Reynolds closed with a two-under 70, while Choi stumbled to a three-over 75 as they finished at four-under-par 212 at Lake Region Yacht and Country Club. Reynolds birdied the third playoff hole for her first win on tour. Ashley Prange carded a three-under 69 to end in a share of third place at minus-three. She was joined there by Nicole Hage (75). Dewi Claire Schreefel also closed with a 69, as she and Prange were the only two players in the 60s in the final round, to end in a tie for fifth. She ended alongside Christine Song (70) and Lisa Meldrum (73) at one-under-par 215. |
