Chicago, IL (My Sportsbook) - The Chicago Blackhawks have activated right wing Patrick Sharp off injured reserve. Sharp had missed Chicago's last 16 games with a lower body injury. He was hurt in a February 14 game against San Jose after taking a check from the Stars' Steve Ott. Before going on IR, Sharp was the team leader with 23 goals. He enters Sunday's play with 38 points in 54 games. Sharp led the Blackhawks with a career-high 36 goals last season. The Blackhawks also recalled defenseman Jordan Hendry from Rockford of the American Hockey League. Hendry opened the season with the Blackhawks and failed to register a point in eight games before being sent to the minors. |
