(My Sportsbook) - The New Orleans Hornets will continue a five-game homestand Sunday versus the Golden State Warriors in the Big Easy. New Orleans is 2-1 so far on the residency and will also host the Denver Nuggets. It is 25-10 at home this season and currently sits two games behind the San Antonio Spurs for the top spot in the Southwest standings. In a 96-84 victory versus Memphis on Friday, All-Star Chris Paul finished with 32 points, nine assists and five steals to lead the way. David West posted 29 points and pulled down seven rebounds, while Rasual Butler chipped in 11 points for the Hornets, who have won two in a row, four of six and 11 of their last 14 contests. New Orleans played Fridays's game without center Tyson Chandler (sore left ankle) and veteran forward Peja Stojakovic (back spasms). Both players are questionable versus the Warriors. Golden State will open a four-game road trip tonight against the Hornets, Spurs, Mavericks and Nuggets, and is just 6-28 away from Oakland this season. It has also lost four in a row on the road. The Warriors have won two of three and four of their last six games overall, including Friday's 119-111 triumph over the Philadelphia 76ers at ORACLE Arena. Brandan Wright scored a career-high 25 points and grabbed six rebounds for Golden State, which got 14 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists from Stephen Jackson. Monta Ellis and Kelenna Azubuike scored 21 and 15 points, respectively, in a winning effort. Anthony Morrow contributed 16 points and six boards, while Corey Maggette had 12 points for the Warriors. The 2008-09 season series between Golden State and New Orleans is tied at a game apiece. The Hornets have won 10 of the last 18 meetings against the Warriors, who are just 3-12 in their previous 15 trips to the Big Easy.
