Nashville, TN (My Sportsbook) - Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth was reportedly indicted on a pair of misdemeanor driving charges related to a December 13 incident. The Tennessean reported Thursday that Haynesworth was charged with reckless driving and driving a vehicle with an expired registration. He was indicted Monday. The charges stem from a crash that occurred December 13 on Interstate 65. According to the paper, a witness said Haynesworth sped by her in a 2008 Ferrari while she was already going nearly 80 miles per hour. Haynesworth reportedly attempted to pass another vehicle, but the driver had to take evasive action and lost control, crashing into the concrete median. The incident came while Haynesworth was already on probation for speeding. The paper said Haynesworth stayed in a Williamson County jail for under an hour, and was released after posting $1,000. Haynesworth spent the first seven of his NFL seasons with the Titans, but recently signed with Washington for a reported seven years and $100 million. The two-time Pro Bowl selection has posted 24 sacks in his career, including a team-best 8 1/2 sacks in 2008. The 27-year-old University of Tennessee product also recorded 51 tackles, including 41 solo, in 14 games last season.
