Berea, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Cleveland Browns have released wide receiver Joe Jurevicius, the team announced Wednesday. Jurevicius, 34, did not play last season because of knee surgeries performed to help him recover from a staph infection. Jurevicius played in 29 games for the Browns in the 2006 and 2007 seasons, catching 90 passes for 1,109 yards and six touchdowns. In 10 NFL seasons with the New York Giants, Tampa Bay, Seattle and Cleveland, Jurevicius has a career 323 receptions, 4,119 yards and 29 scores.
