(My Sportsbook) - The
New Jersey Nets kick off a grueling five-game road trip tonight in Oakland against the
Golden State Warriors.
Most recently for the Nets, Devin Harris scored 35 points on Sunday, including eight in the fourth quarter, and doled out 10 assists to lead New Jersey past the New York Knicks, 106-101, at the IZOD Center.
Vince Carter, who briefly left the game in the fourth quarter after a knee-to- knee collision with New York's Danilo Gallinari, chipped in 25 points and nine rebounds for the Nets, who are still just 2-3 over their last five games.
Brook Lopez scored 16 points in the win, and Bobby Simmons had 10 off the bench.
New Jersey, which is 14-16 on the road and just one-half game behind Chicago for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, will also face Portland, the LA Clippers, Denver, and New York on its trek.
The Warriors, meanwhile, will be opening a four-game homestand tonight after dropping the final three games of a four-game road swing.
Richard Jefferson scored a season-high 35 points to lead seven Bucks in double figures, as Milwaukee fended off a late Golden State rally to edge the Warriors, 127-120, at the Bradley Center on Saturday.
Jamal Crawford went 6-for-10 from three-point range en route to 32 points for the Warriors, who have dropped six of seven overall. Stephen Jackson added 23 points and 11 helpers while Corey Maggette totaled 22 points.
Golden State, which is 15-15 at ORACLE Arena, will also host Dallas, Phoenix and the LA Clippers on its residency.
The Warriors topped the Nets, 105-97, in New Jersey on November 1 and have beaten New Jersey three straight times in Oakland.
