Los Angeles, CA (My Sportsbook) - LeBron James recorded the 22nd triple- double of his career, totaling 32 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists, as the Cleveland Cavaliers used a strong fourth quarter to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers, 87-83, at Staples Center.

"This was a phenomenal performance by LeBron," said Cavs head coach Mike Brown. "LeBron kept everybody focused. This was a great character win."

Zydrunas Ilgauskas posted 16 points and pulled down eight boards for the Cavaliers, who won for the sixth time in their last seven games and improved to 20-4 against Western Conference teams this season. Maurice Williams tallied 14 points on just 4-of-17 shooting in the win.

"We weren't playing Cavalier basketball in the first half," James said. "I got the group together at halftime and let them know we can play better. We had a great second half. This was a gut-check win for us."

Zach Randolph had 20 points, 12 rebounds and six assists for the Clippers, who have dropped six in a row. Al Thornton also contributed 20 points with nine boards, while Eric Gordon logged 14 points in the loss.

"It was disappointing to play as good as we did the first three quarters and not finish," said Clippers head coach Mike Dunleavy. "I was also disappointed in that we took bad shots."

Chris Kaman returned to the lineup for Los Angeles after missing 47 games with a foot ailment and finished with six points.

The Clippers held a 24-17 advantage through the first 12 minutes, and outscored Cleveland by the same margin in the second quarter to take a 48-34 lead to halftime. It was 69-52 in favor of the home team after three frames.

Back-to-back baskets from Kaman and Marcus Camby gave Los Angeles a 73-54 lead in the early stages of the fourth quarter. Cleveland, though, slowly crept back into the game, and Daniel Gibson knocked down a three-ball, capping an epic 26-7 run and tying the contest at 80 with 1:50 remaining.

After Kaman threw the ball away, James was fouled on his way to the hoop and sank both free throws to give the Cavaliers a two-point lead with 1:24 to play.

Thornton drained a three at the top of the key to make it 83-82 with 29.7 seconds left, but Williams buried a triple of his own from the left wing with 6.6 ticks remaining to put Cleveland on top. Randolph's desperation three- point try was short and Williams cemented the win at the charity stripe.

Game Notes

Baron Davis had 12 points and six assists in the loss for Los Angeles...Both clubs shot 39.0 percent from the field...The Clippers were 3-of-17 from beyond the arc, while Cleveland finished 3-of-20 from three-point range...The Cavs have won six straight meetings.
