Barcelona, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen topped the time sheets among the ten teams participating in day two of Formula One testing Tuesday at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya. Raikkonen turned in a best lap time of one minute, 20.314 seconds after completing 55 laps around the course. The Finn was six-tenths of a second quicker than second-place Kazuki Nakajima of Williams. Raikkonen ended his session prematurely when he experienced problems with the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) cooling system in his F60 car. Rubens Barrichello took the wheel of the Brawn BGP 001 for the first time. Barrichello recorded the third fastest lap at 1:20.966 from 111 laps completed. "Today was my last day of testing for the winter," Barrichello said. "We again did a lot of laps including some interesting long runs as we finalized our preparations for Melbourne. It's clear we will only find out the true picture in Australia, but I'm happy with our work in the course of the tests we've done. The car has been competitive and consistent so we can head into the first race with confidence. I feel ready." Barrichello's teammate, Jenson Button, tested the car for the new Brawn GP team on Monday. Jarno Trulli of Toyota was fourth quickest, and Red Bull's Mark Webber completed the top-five. Testing at Barcelona continues on Wednesday. The 2009 F1 season begins March 29 in Melbourne, Australia.
