(My Sportsbook) - Fresh off a tough road victory at Boston, the Southeast Division-leading Orlando Magic will try to run their winning streak to five games Monday against the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The Magic, who are third in the Eastern Conference standings, made it four consecutive victories with an 86-79 triumph over the Celtics on Sunday at TD Banknorth Garden. Dwight Howard finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds, while Rashard Lewis chipped in 15 points and Hedo Turkoglu provided 16 in the win. Orlando has won seven of nine games and improved to 22-9 away from home this season. It also pulled within three games of top-seeded Cleveland and two behind Boston in the conference standings. Meanwhile, the Pistons will try to get back on track tonight in the opener of a quick two-game homestand versus Orlando and New York. Detroit, which is 16-15 at The Palace in 2008-09, had its four-game winning streak halted in Saturday's 87-83 setback at Atlanta. Richard Hamilton totaled 20 points for the Pistons, who got 19 points, eight boards and six assists from Rodney Stuckey. Rasheed Wallace recorded 14 points and eight boards in defeat. Hamilton will most likely make his sixth start tonight in place of Allen Iverson. Iverson has been out five consecutive games with a back problem. Detroit is sixth in the East standings, just 1 1/2 games behind the Miami Heat and one game ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers. The Pistons are 2-0 against Orlando this season and have won 18 of the past 23 matchups in the series. Detroit has won eight of its last nine at home versus the Magic, including an 88-82 victory on December 29 this season.
