Ferreiras, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - The U.S., women's national team won its second 2009 Algarve Cup fixture in as many tries on Friday with a 1-0 win over Iceland. A 90th minute Natasha Kai volley proved to be the difference in the game as the U.S. took the lead in Group B. Thanks to the U.S. team's 2-0 victory over Denmark to open the tourney, it has earned a berth in the championship match. The U.S. still has to play Norway in the invitational women's tournament on Monday. Germany leads Group A with six points with Sweden still within striking distance. The winner of the Germany-Sweden game Monday will play the U.S. for the title on March 11.
