(My Sportsbook) - The Minnesota Timberwolves will try to salvage the finale of a four-game homestand Tuesday when they welcome the Golden State Warriors to the Target Center. The Timberwolves have lost the first three tests of the residency and nine straight at home, including Sunday's 105-94 setback to the Houston Rockets. Randy Foye had a game-best 24 points for the Wolves, who have lost 11 of 12 overall and fell to 8-22 as the host this season. Craig Smith added 20 points and Ryan Gomes chipped in 11 for Minnesota. On the injury front for the Wolves, guard Sebastian Telfair is questionable for Tuesday's game with a sore right groin. Meanwhile, Golden State will begin a four-game road trip tonight against the Timberwolves, Bulls, Pistons and Bucks, and is 5-24 in Oakland this season. The Warriors are coming off Sunday's 112-104 decision versus the Utah Jazz, as Corey Maggette pumped in a game-best 27 points and Anthony Randolph netted a career-high 20 points in a losing cause. Jamal Crawford also netted 20 points and Kelenna Azubuike finished with 13 for Golden State. Warriors head coach Don Nelson gave leading scorer Stephen Jackson the night off to give younger players a chance to see action. Monta Ellis didn't play due to a surgically repaired left ankle. Jackson is probable against Minnesota and both Maggette (rest) and Ronny Turiaf (illness/rest) are expected to miss Tuesday's game. Golden State is winless in its last three road contests. The 2008-09 season series between Golden State and Minnesota is tied at 1-1, but the Warriors have won six of the last eight matchups. The Wolves have won five of the last seven as the host in this series.
