Ottawa, ON (My Sportsbook) - The Ottawa Senators assigned goaltender Martin Gerber to Binghamton of the American Hockey League on Saturday. Gerber has made just 14 appearances for Ottawa this season and has not played since a 6-4 loss to Boston on January 8. He is 4-9-1 with a 2.86 goals- against average on the campaign. Over his six seasons in the NHL, which has included stints for Anaheim and Carolina, he is 104-73-7-14 with a 2.61 GAA and 10 shutouts in 214 games. |
