Tampa, FL (My Sportsbook) - New York Yankees catcher Jorge Posada was scratched from Saturday's spring training game against Minnesota because of a sore shoulder. Posada is coming off shoulder surgery performed last July. He played just 51 games last season, batting .268 with three homers and 22 runs batted in. The veteran backstop has appeared in two games this spring as the designated hitter. He homered in his first spring training at-bat on Thursday and added a run-scoring double against Tampa Bay, then was 2-for-3 on Friday against the Twins.
