(My Sportsbook) - The St. Louis Blues will aim for a third straight win when they visit the Phoenix Coyotes for this evening's encounter at Jobing.com Arena.

The Blues and Coyotes are both currently outside of the Western Conference playoff picture, but neither team is out of the race. St. Louis is 12th in the conference with 62 points and is three points out of a playoff spot. Phoenix is three points in back of the Blues.

St. Louis, which has also won three of four and five of its last seven, will try for its first three-game winning streak since November 21-25.

The Blues began this winning streak with a home victory over the Coyotes on Tuesday and then recorded a road triumph Thursday night in Dallas. T.J. Oshie and Patrik Berglund tallied in the third period to snap a tie and send St. Louis to a 3-1 win over the Stars at American Airlines Center.

Jay McClement registered the other goal for the Blues, while Chris Mason was another key component of the victory, stopping 41-of-42 shots.

Tonight's test marks the second of two in a row on the road for the Blues. St. Louis is just 11-15-3 as the guest this year, but has won five of its last eight road games.

The Coyotes, meanwhile, have lost two straight, five of seven and 11 of their last 14 games.

Phoenix ended a three-game road trip with Thursday's loss in Nashville and is back home for just one game before heading out on another five-game swing. The Coyotes are 17-12-2 as the host this year and ended a six-game home losing streak when they beat Atlanta in their last test in the desert on February 19.

Joel Ward had a goal and an assist while Pekka Rinne stopped 25 shots to help the Predators post the 4-1 win over the Coyotes.

Ed Jovanovski scored the lone goal for the Coyotes, while Ilya Bryzgalov gave up all four goals on 47 shots in the loss.

St. Louis is 2-0 against the Coyotes this season, but Phoenix has still won nine of the last 12 meetings between the clubs. The Blues have dropped two straight, three of four and six of their last eight at Phoenix.
