Indianapolis, IN (My Sportsbook) - T.J. Ford and Jarrett Jack each scored 20 points as the Indiana Pacers held off the Memphis Grizzlies, 104-99, at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Jack also dished out six assists, while Marquis Daniels chipped in 14 points and six rebounds for Indiana, which recovered after falling to the New York Knicks, 123-119, on Monday. Troy Murphy had a solid game with 13 points to go along with 12 boards for the Pacers, who have won four of six overall.

Marc Gasol scored a game-high 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have dropped six straight games, including a 94-79 setback at Cleveland on Tuesday.

O.J. Mayo registered 21 points and Mike Conley had 13 points and eight assists in defeat.

After Ford's trey from the corner put the Pacers ahead by seven at 93-86 at the midway point of the fourth quarter, Conley's layup and free throw by Mayo cut the Grizzlies deficit to four with 4:35 to play.

Indiana then stretched the lead to five before Conley's three-ball and two from the line by Quinton Ross tied the game at 95 with 2:25 left.

"We got back in the game in the fourth quarter," Conley said. "I thought our reserves did a great job of getting us back. We were one or two plays away from winning the game."

However, Murphy's tip-in of a Jeff Foster miss put the hosts back in front by two at the two-minute mark. The Grizzlies would go empty on their next trip down the floor and a short jumper from Daniels gave the Pacers a 99-95 edge with 46.5 seconds to go.

After a 1-of-2 effort from Jack at the line and Indiana ahead 102-99 with 11.6 ticks left, Rudy Gay's attempted three from the right wing was off the mark. The Pacers prevailed when Ford sank two foul shots to seal the win.

"We'll take the win," Pacers head coach Jim O'Brien said. "It wasn't a thing of beauty. We did good things defensively down the stretch. But we had way too many turnovers."

Indiana held a 30-29 lead after the opening quarter and the game remained close in the early going of the second. Following a Gay fadeaway jumper that evened things at 38 at the 7 1/2 minute mark, the Pacers took over.

Stephen Graham ignited a 12-4 run for the hosts with a three-pointer and Travis Diener's shot from beyond the arc with 4:37 left in the half put Indiana ahead by a 50-42 margin. The Pacers then led 60-51 heading into the break.

In the third, the hosts continued to play the front-runner and a Daniels basket 3 1/2 minutes in put the Pacers up by double-digits at 69-59.

The Grizzlies closed the gap to 78-74 with 1:47 remaining in the third and Indiana led by six after three quarters.
