London, England (My Sportsbook) - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is desperate to see his side progress to the latter stages of the Champions League and make up for a disappointing domestic season. The Gunners are currently down in fifth place in the Premier League, but have reached the last 16 in the Champions League, where they will face Italian side AS Roma. Wenger admitted: "I feel that every time I don't win something I view that as a failure. I am here to win and give my best every time. "What drives me personally is to be as good as I can. Sometimes to get the best out of the team, you sit down at the end of the season and think 'did I do it or not? Did I take the best out of the team or not?'. I try to be as objective as I can. "But you have to accept in Europe there are 20 massive clubs and there are 19 disappointed at the end of the season. Let's hope it is the other 19 who are disappointed this season." Wenger went on to reiterate his faith in his youthful squad, adding: "I believe that no matter what happens, it is important to keep this team together. This team is as good as anything in England. "We have to keep them together no matter what happens and that is where the danger is in the modern game. "What we achieve in the rest of this season and the trophies we win is important in keeping players like Cesc Fabregas and Robin Van Persie." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
