New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Los Angeles Clippers forward Zach Randolph has been suspended two games without pay, the NBA announced Wednesday, for striking Phoenix's Louis Amundson in the face Tuesday. The incident occurred with 32.3 seconds left in the first quarter of the game, a 140-100 win for the Suns. Randolph and Amundson got tangled under the basket, and Amundson fell to the floor after being shoved by Randolph's outstretched left arm. Randolph stood over Amundson, who got up and stood face-to-face with Randolph, who then struck Amundson in the face with his left hand. "Basically he just threw me down when I was going for a rebound," said Amundson after the game. "I was on the floor and I could feel him on top of me, trying to step on me - I don't know what he was trying to do. I got up and I was pretty upset about the whole situation and I got in his face and he did what he did." Randolph began serving his suspension Wednesday in the second half of a home- and-home series with the Suns. Phoenix crushed the Clippers, 142-116, at Staples Center.
