New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - New Jersey Devils forward Zach Parise, Calgary Flames center Matthew Lombardi and Atlanta Thrashers forward Ilya Kovalchuk have been selected as the NHL's Three Stars for the week ending February 15. Parise was the league's top scorer last week with eight points off four goals and four assists. That includes a four-point performance in a win over the New York Islanders on Wednesday and Parise is now tied for second in the NHL with 34 goals. He helped the Devils win all four of their games last week and increase their lead for first place in the Atlantic Division to eight points over the Philadelphia Flyers. Lombardi picked up second star honors by notching three goals and four assists in four games, helping the Northwest Division-leading Flames go 3-0-1 and up their edge in the standings to nine points over the second-place Vancouver Canucks. Kovalchuk had an NHL-best five goals last week to round out the awards, capped with his 11th career hat trick in an 8-4 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday. Kovalchuk has scored in four straight games overall and helped lead Atlanta to a pair of wins in three games last week.
