Sunrise, FL (My Sportsbook) - Nate Campbell lost his IBF, WBA and WBO lightweight titles even before he fights Ali Funeka Saturday night. On Friday, Campbell tipped the scales at 138 pounds, which is three pounds over the lightweight limit, and therefore he won't be able to defend the IBF and WBO portions of the belt he won with a split decision win over Juan Diaz last March. The fight will go on Saturday night between Campbell (32-5-1, 25 KOs) and Funeka (30-1-2, 25 KOs) at BankAtlantic Center. But if Funeka wins, he will claim the vacant title. Funeka weighed in at 133 1/2 pounds Friday. Even if Campbell wins, he can't reclaim the belts. Interestingly, Campbell's last fight with Joan Guzman was cancelled when Guzman didn't make weight.
