Toronto, ON (My Sportsbook) - The Toronto Blue Jays agreed to terms with veteran infielder Kevin Millar on a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training on Wednesday. The 37-year-old Millar played the last three seasons with the Baltimore Orioles, hitting .234 with 20 home runs and 72 runs batted in over 145 games in 2008. In 11 major-league seasons, the veteran has 163 homers, 670 RBI and a .277 average in 1,349 games with Florida, Boston and Baltimore. He was a member of the Red Sox 2004 World Series championship team. |
