Los Angeles, CA (My Sportsbook) - The Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly decided on their new head coach. According to FOXSports.com, Arizona Cardinals offensive coordinator Todd Haley agreed Thursday to become the 11th head coach in Chiefs history. The 41-year-old Haley was the mastermind behind Arizona's vaunted aerial attack that helped propel the Cardinals to Super Bowl XLIII, where they lost a heartbreaker to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 27-23, in Tampa, Florida. Haley started his coaching career in 1997 as an offensive assistant under Bill Parcells with the New York Jets. After a four-year stint in the Meadowlands, Haley joined the Chicago Bears in 2001 as the wide receivers coach. Haley moved on to Dallas in 2004 and spent the next three seasons as the Cowboys wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator before being named the Cardinals offensive coordinator on January 25, 2007. Haley is replacing Herm Edwards, who was fired last month. Edwards went just 15-33 during his three-year tenure as head coach of the Chiefs.
