Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - The Philadelphia 76ers try to snap a two- game skid when they welcome the San Antonio Spurs to First Union Center tonight. San Antonio will try to avoid losing back-to-back-games for the first time this season as it continues a three-game road trip. The Spurs dropped the first game of the jaunt 91-82 at New Jersey on Wednesday night. Tim Duncan finished with 21 points and Stephen Jackson added a season-high 20, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Spurs from dropping their second game in three tries. San Antonio shot just 38 percent from the field (29-of-77) in defeat. New Jersey turned 21 Spurs' turnovers into 25 points. "We missed a bunch of shots, but we also gave them a whole lot of easy transition baskets," Duncan said. "They got 25 points off turnovers. That's hard to overcome. Not taking anything away from their defense, but we shot ourselves in the foot." Philly's latest skid comes on the heels of a four-game surge. The Sixers are coming off a 91-81 setback at the hands of the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. Allen Iverson had 25 points to lead Philadelphia, which is 4-0 at home but 0-3 on he road. "It was surprising to see things slip away like that," said Iverson. "It was tied at 65 at the end of three, and then things went bad in the fourth." The teams have split their two games each of the last two seasons, with the home team prevailing throughout. San Antonio has won 16 of its last 19 against Philadelphia, which has not won a season series against the Spurs since 1983-84.
