Auburn Hills, MI (My Sportsbook) - Rasheed Wallace had 18 points and six rebounds in a balanced attack, and the Detroit Pistons outlasted the Miami Heat, 93-90, to end a four-game home losing streak.

Rodney Stuckey also scored 18 points to go with six assists and six rebounds for Detroit, which had lost four of five. Tayshaun Prince added 16 points in the win.

Richard Hamilton notched 12 points and seven assists, Allen Iverson scored 11, and Antonio McDyess had eight points and a season-high 17 rebounds.

Dwyane Wade tallied game-highs of 29 points and 13 assists for the Heat, who have lost three of four. Shawn Marion and Michael Beasley each had 16 points, while Mario Chalmers had 12 points in the loss.

"We missed shots, Detroit's always one of the top defensive teams," Wade said. "We got good shots, but we missed a lot of them. They did a good job defensively, as well."

Udonis Haslem posted 10 points and 10 rebounds for Miami.

Trailing by eight to start the fourth, Miami cut its deficit to 72-70 on Chalmers' three-pointer two 2:18 into the quarter.

The teams traded baskets over several possessions, and Wade's three tied the game at 83 with 4 1/2 minutes left.

Beasley's two free throws kept the game tied at 87 with just over a minute to play, but Stuckey put the Pistons in front with an off-balance bank shot over Wade with 45 seconds left.

After a Miami turnover, Wallace put Detroit up five with 20.2 seconds to play, draining a three from the top of the arc.

Wade's three made it 92-90 with 18 seconds to go, and Hamilton missed a pair from the line at the other end. With a chance to tie or go in front, the Heat went to Wade, who missed a fadeaway jumper.

Arron Afflalo hit 1-of-2 free throws on the following possession with 5.6 seconds on the clock, but Wade missed a three at the buzzer, as the Pistons won the game.

"We were up by 13, so we shouldn't have gotten to that point," Stuckey said. "It's on us, we need to be able to keep a lead. But, you know, it was good that we got this one."

The Heat took a slim 21-20 edge after the first, but Detroit battled back for a 45-42 halftime lead.

The Pistons took control of the game early in the third. Ahead 47-44 after Jamaal Magloire made a hook shot for Miami, Detroit went on a 12-2 run, as Stuckey's 17-foot basket made it 59-46 with just under eight minutes to go in the third, and the hosts led, 70-62, after three quarters.

Game Notes

Wade also added seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks...The Pistons committed 18 turnovers, compared to just six for Miami...The game was not sold out, marking an end to Detroit's franchise-best 259 straight sellouts.
