Enschede, Netherlands (My Sportsbook) - Twente moved into second place in the Eredivisie table on Wednesday with a comfortable 4-1 win over NAC at Arke Stadion, while leaders AZ Alkmaar continued to pull away from the rest of the league with a 1-0 win against Roda. Twente was able to jump over Ajax after the Amsterdam side finished 2-2 with Heracles on Tuesday, and they now trail AZ by nine points. Fouad Idabdelhay pulled a goal back for NAC in the 62nd minute, but Romano Denneboom found the net in stoppage time to cap the scoring. Twente was on top from the start and they went in front in the 22nd minute when Ronnie Stam's lofted pass was headed past goalkeeper Jelle ten Rouwelaar by Arnautovic. A corner kick nine minutes later produced a scramble inside the box that resulted in Wisgerhof finishing off the play from 12 yards, while Elia made it 3-0 15 minutes after the break with low shot that beat the keeper. Idabdelhay answered two minutes later but the hosts went right back on the attack and added a fourth when Blaise Nkufo intercepted a back-pass from Donny Gorter and set up Denneboom for an easy goal.
