Jere Lehtinen also tallied and Marty Turco made 24 saves for the Stars, who are riding a season-high five-game win streak in which they have outscored the opposition by a 20-7 margin. Michael Cammalleri provided the scoring for the Flames, who lost for the second consecutive night. Miikka Kiprusoff was solid in a losing cause, turning aside 29 shots. Both teams converted on the power play in the first period. Calgary bombarded Turco with rubber and Cammalleri eventually pumped in his team-leading 26th goal of the season behind the exhausted netminder for a 1-0 Flames lead at the 6:52 mark. Lehtinen tied the score for Dallas, altering the path of a Matt Niskanen point shot past the glove of a stunned Kiprusoff with 44 seconds remaining. Neal's marker with the man advantage made it a 2-1 game at 4:21 of the middle stanza, and Richards lifted a backhander past the sprawled Calgary netminder with 3:16 left in the third period to effectively seal the victory.
