New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Connecticut again remained a unanimous top choice in the latest Associated Press women's college
basketball poll.
The Huskies (21-0) received all 45 first-place votes and a total of 1,125 points from a nationwide media panel to remain an undisputed top selection for the 10th consecutive week.
UConn is the only unbeaten team in women's college basketball. The men's program is also No. 1 this week.
Oklahoma kept the second spot for the second consecutive week, but there were plenty of changes in the rest of the top 10.
California vaulted four spots from seventh to third and is followed by Duke, Louisville, Auburn, Stanford, Baylor, North Carolina and Texas A&M. None of those teams are in the same spot as last week, and Baylor shares the No. 8 slot with North Carolina.
The second 10 consists of Florida, Tennessee, Maryland, Ohio State, Florida State, Texas, Virginia, Kansas State, Notre Dame and Vanderbilt. Maryland had the biggest fall in the poll, dropping five spots from eighth to 13th after a loss to Virginia.
Iowa State, Pittsburgh, Xavier, DePaul and South Dakota State are the last five teams ranked this week.
There are no newcomers to this week's poll.
