Boston, MA (My Sportsbook) - Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett missed Sunday's game against his former team, the Minnesota Timberwolves, due to the flu. The All-Star forward spent 12 seasons with the Timberwolves and is regarded as the best player in franchise history. Garnett was traded in July 2007 for Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Sebastian Telfair, Gerald Green, Theo Ratliff and two first-round draft choices and helped carry Boston to its 17th NBA title last season. Garnett is averaging 16.3 points and 9.0 rebounds in 47 games this season.
