Cleveland, OH (My Sportsbook) - Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 20 points and 11 rebounds in his return to the court, as the Cleveland Cavaliers downed the Los Angeles Clippers, 112-95, to stay undefeated at Quicken Loans Arena.

Ilgauskas had missed the last 13 games because of a small fracture in his left ankle, but was sharp in his first game back, making 10-of-16 field goals. LeBron James had a team-high 25 points to go with seven rebounds and six assists for the Cavaliers.

Cleveland improved to 22-0 as the host this season, matching a franchise record for consecutive home wins, which the club set in the 1988-89 campaign.

The Cavs also are the first team to win at least its first 22 home games in a season since the Chicago Bulls (37 games) and the Orlando Magic (33 games) accomplished the feat in the 1995-96 season. Cleveland is the first team since the 1966-67 Philadelphia 76ers (22 games) to win 22 straight home games to begin a season, each by a margin of at least four points.

Mo Williams had 23 points and six assists, while Sasha Pavlovic and Wally Szczerbiak each scored 15 in the victory. The Cavaliers rebounded from a loss at Orlando on Thursday to win their fifth game out of six contests.

"We just want to keep it going. We want to keep playing well at home and keep doing the things that we do to win games," Williams said. "With that being said, you just want the fans to continue to be loud and give us a home court advantage, which they have."

Eric Gordon had 27 points and seven rebounds for the Clippers, who have lost four in a row and six of seven. LA has two wins in its last 20 games, and hasn't won back-to-back contests since a three-game streak from December 12-16.

Steve Novak scored 19 in the Clippers' loss.

"All season, we have been playing in spurts, and we just had a good spurt in the beginning, which helped us out toward the end," Gordon said. "But, down the stretch, they just started making plays and it's hard to beat them like that."

Cleveland started the game on a 20-4 run, but the Clippers ended the first quarter on a 17-4 burst, making it a 26-26 contest going into the second. The teams traded baskets for the remainder of the half, and went into the break still tied, at 54-54.

The Cavaliers got another substantial lead in the third quarter thanks to 13-3 stretch. Williams had five points, while James capped the run with two free throws, extending Cleveland's advantage to 77-66 with just over four minutes remaining.

The Cavs took an 83-73 lead into the final quarter, though LA scored eight straight points shortly into the stanza to get within 89-83 with just under nine minutes left in the game. But the Clippers scored just two points over the next 4 1/2 minutes, allowing Cleveland to go on a 13-2 stretch.

Williams capped the burst with a trey, making it a 102-85 game with 4:30 left.

Game Notes

The win improved Cleveland's record to 36-9 this season, assuring that head coach Mike Brown will coach the Eastern Conference squad at the NBA All-Star Game on February 15 in Phoenix...Cleveland announced Friday that guard Tarence Kinsey, who is averaging 1.7 points, will be out three to five weeks with a right ankle sprain. He left the Cavs' loss Thursday to Orlando late in the fourth quarter...Al Thornton had 14 points for the Clippers, while Baron Davis added nine points, eight assists and seven boards...Ben Wallace had 11 boards for the Cavs.
