Moscow, Russia (My Sportsbook) - Nemanja Vidic has signed a four-year deal with Spartak Moskva. By putting pen to paper the former Crvena Zvezda player has reportedly become the highest paid defender in Russia's top flight. Vidic has spent the last three seasons with Serbia and Montenegro's Crvena Zvezda where he scored 12 goals in 67 appearances. He won the Serbo-Montenegrin Cup in 2001/02 and 2003/04 while also securing the Prva savezna liga title last year. Vidic has capped six times for his country's national side. Before finally deciding on a new deal Vidic was eyed by Manchester United, S.S. Lazio, AS Roma, Real Madrid and Club Atletico de Madrid.
