Toledo, OH (My Sportsbook) - University of Toledo men's basketball coach Gene Cross announced on Friday the suspension of guard Jonathan Amos. A release from the team did not give specifics as to why the guard was suspended other than it is for disciplinary reasons. "He will have every opportunity to re-join the team once he meets the conditions of team discipline that have been laid out for him," Cross said in the release. "I am hopeful that he will be back with us soon." In 20 games this season, Amos ranks second on the Rockets (4-16, 2-4 MAC) with 13.0 points per game and is third with 4.2 rebounds per game. He is also averaging 3.1 assists. |
