Spokane, WA (My Sportsbook) - Matt Bouldin scored 17 points to lead No. 20 Gonzaga past 22nd-ranked Saint Mary's-CA, 69-62, to snap the Gaels' school record 15-game win streak.
Steven Gray added 14 points and two steals for the Bulldogs (15-4, 6-0 West Coast), who have rattled off seven straight wins. Jeremy Pargo chipped in 11 points and Austin Daye 10 in the win.
"We beat a very, very, very good basketball team tonight," Gonzaga head coach Mark Few said. "They were a handful tonight. We did a great job in a lot of areas tonight. We made some adjustments at the half and did a great job of taking care of the ball with only two turnovers in the second half."
Patrick Mills had 18 points -- on a career-high 6-of-8 three-pointers -- but left late in the first half with a sprained right wrist and did not return. Diamon Simpson added 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Gaels (18-2, 5-1), who will play at Portland on Saturday.
"He is a tremendous player," Few said of Mills. "But they are all not about Patty, they are a very good team."
Down by three right around the midway point of the first half, Ben Allen's tip-in sparked a 13-2 run that gave the Gaels a 29-21 lead with 7:22 left in the half. Mills hit a pair of threes to close out the surge.
Saint Mary's was on top, 39-33, heading into the intermission.
Gonzaga took advantage with Mills, Saint Mary's leading scorer, on the pine. Gray's three and layup brought Gonzaga within 39-38 just 46 seconds into the second half.
Then, down by a pair later in the half, Pargo hit a jumper to spark a 12-0 run. Bouldin's two free throws closed it out to give the Bulldogs a 58-48 lead with just under eight minutes showing on the clock.
Gonzaga's lead never dipped below six points from there on out.
