Denver, CO (My Sportsbook) - Denver Nuggets star forward Carmelo Anthony has been cleared for action and will play in Friday's game against the Charlotte Bobcats, the team announced on Thursday. He has been sidelined with a non-displaced third metacarpal fracture on his right hand that he suffered in a game against Indiana on January 5. He missed a 10-game span during which the team went 6-4. In 31 games this season, Anthony is averaging 21.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists for the Nuggets, who entered Thursday's action atop the Northwest Division. The third overall pick of the stocked 2003 NBA draft has not played a full 82- game slate since his rookie season.
