Newhan, 35, batted .260 with two home runs and 12 RBI in 64 games for Houston in 2008. Over eight seasons in the majors, he has batted .253 with 23 homers and 120 RBI in 413 games. He has donned the uniform of San Diego, Philadelphia, Baltimore, the New York Mets and Houston over that stretch. |
