Tampa, FL (My Sportsbook) - Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward indicated during Media Day Tuesday that the rehabilitation of his sprained knee is going well and he is likely to suit up for Super Bowl XLIII Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. The 32-year-old had his knee bent backwards while being tackled by Frank Walker after making a catch midway through the first quarter of Pittsburgh's AFC Championship victory over rival Baltimore. Ward has missed just six games throughout his 11-year career. "Having a whole week off last week, I've tried to put two weeks of rehab into one week," Ward said in front of a vast media contingent at Raymond James Stadium. "I feel good." Ward was the MVP in the Steelers' fifth Super Bowl victory against Seattle three years ago, when the Korean-American hauled in five passes for 123 yards and a touchdown. This past regular season, Ward recorded his first 1,000-yard receiving campaign since 2004, logging 1,043 yards and seven touchdowns on 81 catches. He also made seven grabs for 125 yards in two postseason games this year.
