(My Sportsbook) - The Houston Rockets will resume a three-game road trip Sunday night against the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Houston had its three-game winning streak come to an end in the opener of the road swing, a 107-102 defeat at the hands of the Indiana Pacers on Friday at Conseco Fieldhouse. Luis Scola had a career-high 25 points for Houston, which lost the services of center Yao Ming due to a sore right knee. Yao, who Thursday was voted to start the NBA All-Star Game, had eight points and five rebounds before leaving the contest in the second quarter. X-rays were negative and the Chinese big man is questionable Sunday. The Rockets also played without stars Ron Artest and Tracy McGrady. Artest was out with a bone bruise in his right ankle, while McGrady sat out with a sore left knee. McGrady has missed the last six contests, while Artest was out for his seventh game in a row. Artest and McGrady are questionable against the Pistons. Houston will also visit the New York Knicks and is 12-12 as the guest in 2008-09. Detroit will wrap up a three-game homestand this evening and is 1-1 on the residency following Friday's 112-91 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Richard Hamilton, coming off the bench for the second consecutive game, led the Pistons with 17 points. Tayshaun Prince finished with 12 points, while Allen Iverson and Rodney Stuckey ended with 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Detroit, which lost for the sixth time in its past eight contests. The Pistons are 13-8 at The Palace this season. The Rockets and Pistons split a two-game series a year ago, but Detroit has won nine of 12 and 10 of the last 14 meetings. Houston has lost seven straight and 11 of its last 12 trips to Motown.
