Seattle, WA (My Sportsbook) - Isaiah Thomas posted a team-high 24 points, and the Washington Huskies continued their home dominance over UCLA with an 86-75 victory against the 13th-ranked Bruins at Bank of America Arena.

Jon Brockman tallied 18 points and eight rebounds for Washington (15-4, 6-1 Pac-10), which has beaten UCLA at home five straight times and has won 13 of 14 overall. Justin Dentmon added 16 points, while Quincy Pondexter and Venoy Overton each contributed 10 points in the victory.

"I think we just never got down on ourselves," Thomas said. "We're just so close with relationships off the court that nothing really gets down on us. Coach on the road games, home games, says there's going to be adversity. He says we are just going to have to play through it and play to the best of our ability. We play hard, and we do that."

Washington dominated from the free throw line, making 36-of-43 of their attempts while UCLA went just 10-of-15.

"We just completed a weekend of heavyweight fights here," Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar said. "The USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins are two heavyweights, and we had to have a heavyweight response. I couldn't be more proud today of the player I've been able to coach than I am right now, Justin Dentmon. He got in early foul trouble. I've seen guys so south. They're pouting. He stayed over there, and I watched him. He was so focused. He came back and he immediately made his presence felt. It's kind of the culmination on how his career has been."

Josh Shipp shot 6-of-9 from long range in a 25-point effort for the Bruins (15-4, 5-2), who have lost two of three after a 10-game win streak. Darren Collison was the only other player in double-figures for the visitors with 12 points, and Nikola Dragovic and Jrue Holiday each added eight points in the loss.

"We did a good job competing," UCLA head coach Ben Howland said. "We had a chance to go up four going into halftime, and they hit the three. We had difficulty being able to handle their pressure. You've got to give them credit. This is a very good team that beat us today."

UCLA held a 39-38 edge at halftime, and six lead changes in the early minutes of the second half led to the teams playing to a 46-46 deadlock after four minutes elapsed.

Shipp hit three-pointers number four and five on the game to give UCLA a 52-49 lead five minutes in, but Washington used a 6-1 burst to go up, 55-53, on Thomas' three.

Thomas hit his third consecutive three-point shot for a 63-58 Huskies advantage with nine minutes left, and the hosts held a 72-66 lead with four minutes to play after Dentmon nailed a jumper to cap a 5-0 burst.

Washington pushed its lead to 11 on Thomas free throws with two minutes left, and the Bruins didn't threaten from there.

UCLA scored the first seven points of the game and held Washington without a field goal for the opening five minutes.

The Huskies closed to within 9-7, but Shipp drained back-to-back threes for a 17-9 Bruins advantage 7 1/2 minutes into the game.

Washington battled back again, making it a one-point deficit at 28-27 on Dentmon's jumper with just over five minutes left before taking the lead on two free throws from Brockman.

The Bruins carried a one-point lead into halftime.
