New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Detroit Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk, Calgary Flames forward Mike Cammalleri and Atlanta Thrashers forward Rich Peverley were named the NHL's Three Stars for the week ending January 18. Datsyuk was the league's leading scorer over the week with one goal and six assists in three games. His best performance came in a 5-4 overtime loss at Dallas last Monday, picking up a goal and two assists. Datsyuk followed with a pair of helpers at Anaheim last Wednesday, then added two more assists in a 6-5 loss to West-leading San Jose on Saturday. Cammalleri picked up five goals and one assist en route to second star honors. Calgary finished the week by splitting its four contests, and Cammalleri was a factor by scoring twice each in a win over St. Louis on January 13 and in a loss to Phoenix on Saturday, then adding an assist in a win at San Jose and a goal in Sunday's setback at Colorado. Peverley earned the third star after tallying one goal and five assists for the week. His best outing came in Atlanta's 7-2 thrashing of Nashville on Saturday, when the former Predator had three assists. Peverley also notched the game-winning goal in a 4-3 decision over Toronto on Friday.
