Columbus, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Columbus Blue Jackets activated left wing Raffi Torres from injured reserve. Torres, 27, missed the past 19 games following arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and is expected to be in the lineup on Friday as the surging Blue Jackets host the New Jersey Devils. Acquired from Edmonton on July 1 in exchange for disappointing prospect Gilbert Brule, Torres also sat out the first 10 contests of the season because of a shoulder injury he suffered during a preseason game against Chicago on September 29. The Toronto, Ontario, native has registered one goal and three assists in 15 games with Columbus this season. Selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders, Torres has 68 goals and 62 assists for 130 points in 322 career games with the Islanders, Oilers and Blue Jackets.
