Porto, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - After impressive work at rival Nacional, Brazilian midfielder Paulo Assuncao has returned to Porto to sign a four-year contract with the Champions League winners.

The 24-year-old Assuncao originally signed with Porto in 2000, but he failed to find a place in the side and returned to Brazil only a year later. But recently his displays in the Portuguese league, where he helped Nacional reach the fourth spot in the league table this past season, caught the eye of Porto again.

There were several clubs interested in obtaining Assuncao's services, but he felt that Porto was his best option.
