Tucson, AZ (My Sportsbook) - University of Arizona head football coach John Mackovic has scheduled a 5:30 p.m. (et) press conference to discuss the state of Wildcat football. School officials would not discuss details of the press conference. The 59-year-old Mackovic, was named the 26th head coach in school history on December 4, 2000 and is in his second year as Arizona's head coach. The Wildcats are 3-7 this season, including 0-6 in Pac-10 play. Mackovic has compiled an overall record of 8-13, including 2-12 in the conference. |
