Cleveland, OH (My Sportsbook) - New Browns head coach Eric Mangini continued to shape his team on Wednesday by announcing the hiring of Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator, Rob Ryan as defensive coordinator and Brad Seely as assistant head coach/special teams coordinator. The three men worked with Mangini when he was with New England from 2000-03. In those four seasons with the Patriots, Mangini led the defensive backs, Daboll was a defensive assistant and then wide receivers coach, Ryan coached the linebackers and Seely was head of the special teams unit. The 33-year-old Daboll was also the quarterbacks coach of the Jets alongside Mangini for two seasons. He has 11 years of coaching experience, nine of them in the NFL. The 46-year-old Ryan joins his fourth NFL team. He was defensive backs coach for Arizona from 1994-95, and also worked for the Patriots (2000-03) and had spent the previous five seasons as defensive coordinator of the Oakland Raiders. Seely spent the last ten seasons as the Patriots' special teams coach.
