Tucson, AZ (My Sportsbook) - University of Arizona head football coach John Mackovic has scheduled a 5:30 p.m. (et) press conference to discuss the state of Wildcat football. School officials would not discuss details of the press conference. Mackovic, 59, was named the 26th head coach in school history on December 4, 2000 and is in his second year as Arizona's head coach. The Wildcats are 3-7 this season, including 0-6 in Pac-10 play. Mackovic has compiled an overall record of 8-14, including 2-12 in the conference. |
