Pittsburgh, PA (My Sportsbook) - Pittsburgh safety Troy Polamalu was among several Steelers players who sat out of practice Wednesday, days before the Steelers are set to take on the Ravens in the AFC Championship at Heinz Field. Polamalu has been nursing a calf injury, while center Justin Hartwig sat out with a knee injury. The 2009 Pro Bowl starter Polamalu started all 16 games this season for the Steelers, recording 73 tackles and career-highs with seven interceptions and 17 passes defensed. Hartwig was also a starter in all 16 regular season games for Pittsburgh in his first season with the team. Running back Willie Parker, wide receiver Hines Ward, cornerback Deshea Townsend, and defensive end Aaron Smith were all listed as non-participants due to reasons not related to an injury.
