Louisville, KY (My Sportsbook) - Terrence Williams scored 24 points, pulled down a game-best 16 rebounds and dished out eight assists as 20th-ranked Louisville used a hot hand to upend 12th-ranked Notre Dame, 87-73, at Freedom Hall. Samardo Samuels had 18 points for the Cardinals (12-3, 3-0 Big East), who have won four in a row but face a big test on Saturday, hosting top-ranked Pitt. Earl Clark posted 15 points and 10 boards, while Andre McGee had 10. Luke Harangody scored a game-high 28 points with 13 rebounds for the Irish (12-4, 3-2), whose two-game win streak was snapped. Kyle McAlarney added 19 points including 5-of-6 three-pointers and Tory Jackson had nine points with six assists. Clark's trey from the left side made it 76-73 for Louisville a minute into the extra session. Samuels then completed a three-point play for a six-point bulge. After a miss at the other end, Williams hit a leaning lay-in and the Cardinals had an 81-73 advantage. Cold shooting continued to doom the Irish from there, and McGee finished off the win with four of the Cardinals' final six points.
