Renton, WA (My Sportsbook) - Casey Bradley was named the defensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks on Monday. Bradley spent the previous three years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, serving the last two as linebackers coach. He was the defensive quality control coach in 2006. Prior to Tampa Bay, he spent 10 seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, North Dakota State (1996-2005), including six as the assistant head coach (2000-05). He also served as defensive coordinator for the Bison from 1997-2002, and again in 2005. The Seahawks also named Dan Quinn their assistant head coach/defensive line coach. Quinn joins the organization after spending the previous six years coaching the defensive lines for the San Francisco 49ers (2003-04), Miami Dolphins (2005-06) and the New York Jets (2007-08). The two hires were the latest moves for the Seahawks, who are making changes following the departure of head coach Mike Holmgren with Jim Mora Jr. taking his place. Last Thursday, the Seahawks tabbed Greg Knapp as their new offensive coordinator. John Marshall had spent the last six years as the defensive coordinator of the Seahawks.
