New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Colorado Avalanche left wing Wojtek Wolski was named the NHL's first star for the week ending January 11 after leading all scorers with six points. Anaheim Ducks rookie right wing Bobby Ryan was awarded the second star while Florida Panthers center Gregory Campbell was named the third star of the week. Wolski notched four goals and two assists to help the Avalanche win all three of their games this past week. Playing his third full season in the NHL, he is fourth in scoring for Colorado with 11 goals and 14 assists in 41 games. Ryan's five goals led the NHL this past week and he notched his first career hat trick in a 4-3 loss to Los Angeles last Thursday. He also scored once in each of Anaheim's two victories last week, a 3-1 win over the Kings on Tuesday and a 4-3 win over the Devils on Sunday. Since making his season debut on November 16, Ryan leads all rookies in scoring with 12 goals and 14 assists in 26 games over that span. Campbell registered two goals and four assists in a 3-0-0 week for the Panthers while also posting a plus-six rating over that time. Playing his fifth season in the NHL, he has already set a season-high in goals (eight) and points (20).
