Portland, OR (My Sportsbook) - Travis Outlaw drained a fade-away jumper with 8.9 seconds remaining to lift Portland to an 84-83 triumph over Detroit, snapping the Pistons' seven-game winning streak. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 26 points and gabbed six boards and Outlaw finished with 14 points for the Trail Blazers, which had lost two straight coming into the game. Steve Blake contributed 10 points and a game-high 10 assists in the win as Portland was without star Brandon Roy (hamstring) for a fourth straight game. Tayshaun Prince dropped 26 points and hauled in eight rebounds while Allen Iverson provided 14 points and seven assists for Detroit, which fell to 1-1 on a four-game road trip with visits to Denver and Utah still to play. Rodney Stuckey scored 13 and dished out seven helpers in the loss. Friday's contest at the Pepsi Center will be Iverson's first trip back to Denver since the Nuggets dealt him to Detroit earlier this season. The Pistons were without the services of both Rasheed Wallace (foot) and Rip Hamilton (groin). Following Outlaw's clutch bucket and a Pistons timeout, the ball found its way into the hands of Iverson, who pulled up for a two that was off the mark. Blake grabbed the board and raced up-court as time expired.
