Salt Lake City, UT (My Sportsbook) - Paul Millsap recorded his 19th straight double-double with 27 points and 14 rebounds, as the Utah Jazz crushed the New Orleans Hornets, 116-90. Mehmet Okur added 20 points and Kyle Korver 15 for the Jazz, who have won two in a row. Andrei Kirilenko tallied 13 points in the win. C.J. Miles, who had eight points for Utah, left late in the third quarter with a sprained right ankle. He hurt it coming down awkwardly after a jumper. Chris Paul had 26 points and seven assists for the Hornets, who are one day removed from snapping the Lakers' 15-game home winning streak. David West ended with 13 points and James Posey 11 in defeat. The Hornets stung for a 33-29 lead after the first quarter, but the Jazz took a 58-46 lead at the break. The Jazz opened the third stanza on a 7-0 run to take a 65-46 lead with just over nine minutes showing on the clock. Ronnie Brewer's free throw sparked the run and Millsap accounted for the rest of the scoring. Utah took an 84-64 lead heading into the final frame. Korver's three-pointer and free throw, followed by a foul shot from Millsap opened a 99-73 lead for the home team with just over seven minutes left. The Jazz cruised the rest of the way. Game Notes The Hornets concluded a four-game road trip at 2-2...NO had won five of six overall, but fell to 10-7 on the road...The Jazz are 2-0 on a four-game homestand and improved to 14-4 as the host this season...The game also marked legendary broadcaster "Hot" Rod Hundley's 3,000th call of Jazz basketball. Hundley is currently in his fourth season as the radio voice of the team after 31 years as the play-by-play voice of radio and television simulcasts. Hundley is the only member of the original New Orleans Jazz staff to remain with the team for all of its 35 seasons. He joined the organization prior its inaugural season in 1974-75 and moved with the team when it relocated to Salt Lake City in 1979-80...The Jazz have won six of their past seven contests with the Hornets and have really dominated the series in Salt Lake City, winning five straight and 13 of the last 16 contests between the two teams in Utah.
