Washington, DC (My Sportsbook) - Andrea Bargnani posted 25 points and Chris Bosh logged 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists, as the Raptors held on for a 99-93 victory over the hapless Wizards.

Bargnani was 4-for-5 from behind the arc, while Anthony Parker added 15 points and seven rebounds for Toronto, which has won three of its last four games. Will Solomon chipped in 14 points and Jason Kapono had 12 for the Raptors, who were again without center Jermaine O'Neal (knee) and guard Jose Calderon (hamstring).

Toronto overcame 20 turnovers by hitting 54.4 percent from the floor and 17- of-20 from the foul line.

Antawn Jamison led Washington's comeback effort with 14 of his game-high 32 points coming in the fourth quarter, but the club still dropped their fourth game in five tries to fall to an Eastern Conference-worst 7-27. Caron Butler added 15 points to go along with a half dozen assists and as many rebounds in defeat.

Washington came out ice cold, missing five of its first six shots, while Toronto had their way offensively. Bargnani's dunk opened a 9-2 rally midway through the first and the Raptors led 27-16 after 12 minutes of action.

Back-to-back Parker and Bargnani three-pointers pumped up Toronto's lead to 21 with just over four minutes left before the half, which was ended on a 13-4 Wizards' spurt that brought the hosts within 50-38.

It was a 13-point advantage for the Raptors after three periods, and Washington got back in it by sinking its first eight field goals of the final quarter.

Butler's layup pulled the Wizards to 85-79 with six minutes remaining. Both teams caught a bit of a cold streak before Bargnani's trey gave the visitors a 92-83 lead at the two-minute mark.

Jamison's layup with 39.7 seconds to go made it a five-point game, but the Raptors waited 10 seconds to foul Bargnani, who made two from the line.

The Wizards missed two valuable attempts at the line in back-to-back possessions, while the Raptors hit their final four freebies down the stretch to seal the win.

Game Notes

The Raptors had suffered defeats in eight of their last nine trips to the Verizon Center coming into the game...Andray Blatche and Mike James had 12 and 10 points, respectively, for the Wizards, who were outrebounded 39-28.
