Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook, cornerback Asante Samuel, offensive tackle Jon Runyan and fullback Dan Klecko each sat out Wednesday's practice in preparation for Sunday's NFC Divisional Playoff battle with the New York Giants. Westbrook has battled numerous injuries throughout a season that saw him miss two games early on. The Eagles' leading rusher (936 yards) and touchdown maker (11 total) is currently nursing a knee injury that caused him to be listed as questionable for last Sunday's Wild Card bout with Minnesota. "It has been tough every week to get ready to play, just dealing with the different injuries that I have had," Westbrook said on the team's website. "I always seem to find a way [to play]. The trainers in the training room have done a great job with me of just getting prepared. [Head] coach [Andy] Reid has worked with me, as well, as far as limiting practice." Samuel was also questionable for that playoff tilt, but both players came through with key touchdowns despite the ailments in Philadelphia's 26-14 win. Klecko and Runyan sat out Wednesday's session with shoulder and knee problems, respectively. Philly did have some unlikely participants in practice as guard Shawn Andrews, who hasn't played since September after undergoing back surgery, and defensive end Victor Abiamiri, who has missed the past two weeks with a foot injury, took limited reps and have an outside shot at playing on Sunday.
